Events for The LAAA ALUMNI Homecoming weekend!

Kickoff Homecoming Weekend with the Presidential Spotlight Featuring Marqueece Harris-Dawson, President of the Los Angeles City Council and the students of LAAA.  Light meal served prior to program.

Vespers with Pastor David Zaid includes songs of praise, words of faith  to celebrate the sacrifice of Christ.  A light meal will proceed vespers.

Rehearse with the Alumni Choir led by Alan Woodson.

Our Sabbath School program will start at 10:00 a.m.  Study God's word from Lesson 11 - Living With Christ.  

Light meal served prior to Sabbath School.

Our keynote speaker is Dr. James D. Doggette, Jr., Vice President for Recruitment at Oakwood University.  

Fellowship with alumni as you enjoy a delicious lunch immediately following main service!

Various alumni will bring musical numbers as we acknowledge our special honorees.

Fun and games including skating, board games, et cetera.   

 Join us for the Annual LAAA Alumni Association Meeting! We'll recap last year's highlights and elect new board members for 2026-2028.

The Parent Teacher Organization is presenting Spring Festival.  Booths with food, trinkets, etc.  $5 admission paid at entry. Sunday, 11-5 p.m.

Alumni basketball games between the odd years and the even years.  Com and play or cheer on your team.  Sunday afternoon from 3:00-5:00 p.m.
